Changes for 2012

During the Christmas/Onething break, we took advantage of the down time to make some needed changes at Manna4u. Skip has had fun re-arranging the shelves and racks. Our lovely concrete floor had had some dangerous holes filled in. They're still curing, so you may find a chair or three in the middle of the floor to keep y'all from falling in the wet cement! See y'all back in the New Year! Happy 2012!

It's been a LONG time!

Wow! It has been forever since we've updated this website! Bo-ring!

There have been sooooo many changes! I'll try to catch us up to speed here.

This photo is just about 1/4 of the space we now have.

Ok. Count the blessings with me now.

Lets see...what's new since our last post....

*2 moves! Outta the garage, into a small backroom at IHOPU. Then.....

*Great new location, bigger and better than ever! We're in a huge area behind IHOPU!

*Now offering clothing and other items! We have a "boutique" =)

*We have a crew of 24 volunteers that help do all manner of things to serve others!

*We are a department of IHOP, under the Ministries and Justice Pillar!

*We even have health and beauty items to give away!

*We have several new donor connections that provide an abundance of blessings!

*Our cup so overflows, that we are able to give to Salvation Army food pantry, & Our Lady of the Coronation Catholic food pantry. In this way, we indirectly serve the community at large!

Fun With Food!

Jesus said, "You must become like a Child..."

We at Manna4U take that seriously! Playing with

food is absolutely encouraged!

Help comes in All SiZeS!

Allow me to introduce you to Keala (Kay.Ah.Luh). She and her mom, Kris volunteer every Monday morning. They help in bagging and preparing the breads, bagels, and whatever else God provides! They've got SKILLS!

These people have become like family to us. We love them all! Stay tuned for more pictures and introductions to some more of our faithful, hard workers =) .

We are so thankful for all these wonderful people God has given us to come along side and serve in this ministry of feeding God's people! Help comes in all sizes and packages. We love the diversity of the body here! All are a blessing to us and to the body. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!

So Professional!

With some help from our friend, Suzie Bledsoe, we have an all new "Needs & Seeds" board! Suzie works in the signs department at IHOP. She created this sweet new professional look for our board!

This white board is here for anyone in our community to post....

Needs--when you are in need of something someone in our community might be able to supply.

Seeds--when you have something to sow to someone who may have just such a need.

All previous posts were wiped out with the renewing of the board, so if you still have something you posted in the past, please re-post it.
